Trevor Chiasson, M.A., C.Psych.Assoc.
Trevor is the director of clinical operations and holds a certificate of registration from the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario for a psychological associate authorizing autonomous practice. Trevor has been with the practice since 2017, in which he has completed his required post-masters’ hours and a year of supervised practice. He has completed his master’s degree in applied (clinical) psychology as well as his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Laurentian University. He also holds a pre-health certification from Cambrian College. This Sudbury native provides counselling, therapy, virtual reality exposures, and a wide variety of psychological assessment services (i.e., psychodiagnostics, psycho-vocational, and psycho-educational). He strives to empower his clients through education, practicality, and self-analysis through a solution-focused and cognitive-behavioural approach. His main interest areas include stress management, anxiety and anxiety related disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic, sports performance, and trauma related disorders. Trevor’s research has examined the role of stress reappraisal intervention on logical tasks, state anxiety, physiological measures, social performance, and emotional bias.
