Jamie Lyn Flesch, Ph.D., C.Psych. is the Director of Clinical Management and holds a certificate of registration from the College of Psychologists of Ontario for a psychologist authorizing autonomous practice. She provides psychological assessments and treatment in English or French for adult individuals and couples experiencing a range of difficulties. She also holds a sessional academic appointment at Laurentian University. Dr. Flesch has built a competitive profile for practice in adult mental health. Her training includes an honours bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Laurentian University, as well as a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Ottawa. She has gained exposure to a variety of therapeutic orientations, therapeutic modalities, client populations, and agency types. Dr. Flesch generally approaches cases from a Cognitive-behavioural perspective and integrates other evidence-based interventions when appropriate. She highly respects the therapeutic relationship and uses a client-centered, strength-focused approach to assessment, case conceptualization, and treatment. She strives to balance professionalism with warmth, empathy, and openness, and to genuinely adapt her approach, style, and communication to each client.
