  • Jamie Lyn Flesch, Ph.D., C.Psych.

    Jamie Lyn Flesch, Ph.D., C.Psych. is the Director of Clinical Management and holds a certificate of registration from the College of Psychologists of Ontario for a psychologist authorizing autonomous practice. She provides psychological assessments and treatment in English or French for adult individuals and couples experiencing a range of difficulties. She also holds a sessional academic appointment at Laurentian University. Dr. Flesch has built a competitive profile for practice in adult mental health. Her training includes an honours bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Laurentian University, as well as a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Ottawa. She has gained exposure to a variety of therapeutic orientations, therapeutic modalities, client populations, and agency types. Dr. Flesch generally approaches cases from a Cognitive-behavioural perspective and integrates other evidence-based interventions when appropriate. She highly respects the therapeutic relationship and uses a client-centered, strength-focused approach to assessment, case conceptualization, and treatment. She strives to balance professionalism with warmth, empathy, and openness, and to genuinely adapt her approach, style, and communication to each client. Similarly, she practices awareness of and sensitivity to individual differences and diversity. She values the introspective process of therapy, as well as healthy work-life balance to ensure personal well-being and effective practice.
