Anne-Marie Rainville, M.A.
Anne-Marie is a clinical associate and pre-doctoral intern, and she is currently completing her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the Université de Moncton. Her training includes a master’s degree in applied psychology and an honours bachelor’s degree in psychology from Laurentian University. Her clinical experiences vary from private practice to school settings. She currently provides and assists with psychological and psycho-educational assessments. She also offers individual psychotherapy for a variety of presenting concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, mood, stress, and trauma-related disorders. She favours a person-centred approach and works collaboratively with clients to set therapeutic goals. She employs a cognitive-behavioural approach and integrates other evidence-based modalities as needed to tailor treatment to the client’s specific needs. She approaches therapy with non-judgment, warmth, empathy, and authenticity. She provides services to both adolescent and adult clients in French and English. Her research focuses on the field of positive psychology, specifically the study of gratitude. She values work-life balance and self-care, striving to provide that same sense of balance and empowerment to her clients.
